Full Seal Kit - Flame Retardant: Double Garage Sectional / Panelift Door
Great product, very easy to install. I used screws instead of the adhesive. Not really required but I tend to over engineer everything. Delivery was super fast. I did think about buying a similar product from the major hardware store, I am glad I didn’t the quality of this product is so much better.
My SYG experience started with a smooth, fast transaction. My double door kit was delivered to regional NSW in 3 days (during the NSW covid lockdown). It was very securely packaged and supplied with everything required for the task (other than tools).
The instructions were quite helpful, however, I elected not to use the included adhesive for my purpose, and chose masonry screws instead. After a cautious start, installation was easy. We get a lot of strong winds and gusts around the western suburbs of Melbourne, and dust are blown in through the gaps around the garage door. The dust build-up was so bad that every week, I had to use a blower to clean up the garage. After installing the seal kit, not only has it kept my garage cleaned, it also cuts out the whistling noise from the wind.
Product is exactly as described. Shipping was quick and included instructions were clear. A couple of helpful points, 1. try to use as little glue as possible as using too much might not give you a flush finish against wall. 2. this can be installed by one person as long as you have a couple of clamps handy.
